Take this approach to engage workers in training
Keeping employees engaged is one of the biggest obstacles to successful training sessions.
You’re facilitating a training session and notice that attendees seem lost in their own thoughts. How can you help them re-engage? Issue a few challenges. Routinely interrupt your lecture and ask attendees to take an oral pop quiz, or have them provide real-world examples of some of the problems you’ve discussed and how they might apply the strategies you’ve suggested. Periodically putting participants on the spot will help rivet their attention and keep their blood flowing.
